South Texas
Charities, Inc. is a
Non-Profit Organization that donates thousands of dollars each year to San Antonio and
surrounding area charities and other worthwhile causes to help the needy. These
include cancer and disease patients, flood victims, battered women, injured and
underprivileged children, and wildlife rescue or abandonment. The Board of Directors meet each month at the San Antonio Airport Hilton
Hotel for planning sessions. Operated by PARTI, funds are raised through
quality social events and fund raisers. |
| Dave Coker, President of the Fisher House, accepts a donation from South
Texas Charities President, Robin Ruff. The Randolph-Brooks Federal Credit Union
pledged to match the funds. The Fisher House is one of three charities benefiting from a
recent "Hooray for Hollywood" fund raising event. |

From the CTRC Newsletter - "Charles A. Coltman, Jr., M.D., President and CEO of
the CTRC, recently accepted a donation of $2000 from South Texas Charities, Inc. On
hand for the presentation were cancer survivor Donna Marie Carder, who was a patient at
CTRC, and Robin Ruff, President of PARTI, a parent organization of South Texas Charities,
Inc., a non-profit organization that donates thousands of dollars each year to San Antonio
and surrounding area charities and other worthwhile causes.  Their
support includes assistance to cancer and disease patients, flood victims, battered women
and wildlife rescue. The parent company, PARTI, raises funds by sponsoring social
events throughout the year with proceeds going to selected charities and other non-profits
like the CTRC."Cancer Therapy & Research Center President and CEO, Dr. Charles
A. Coltman, Jr. M.D. accepts a donation from cancer survivors, Donna Marie Carder and
PARTI President Robin Ruff on behalf of South Texas Charities, Inc.

recovery. Our fund-raisers are legitimate and sincere and are not scams.
We will not sell commemorative coins, T-Shirts, or other
merchandise to "support the Troops", remember 9/11, etc.
(Haven't figured out how the "troops" benefit from that.)
Our profits, toys or goods collected go directly to the
charities we support. All ticket purchases or donations from YOU are tax deductible
charitable contributions. |
